Our approach is designed to be simple yet effective. A web site exists to communicate a message about your business or organisation, your products or services. It should help and encourage visitors to use and/or purchase your products or services and enhance your relationship with them by providing appropriate and timely information in a user-friendly way. Hence we avoid fancy gimmicks, high-end graphics and multimedia in favour of functional and rewarding content and navigation. We try to ensure that we share an understanding of your objectives and business.
We can deliver solutions which range from a simple "shop window" to promote your services, people or products - to a full-blown e-commerce site for online sales. We aim to design to optimise for search engine discovery, but can also provide search engine optimisation services to maximise traffic.
Small is "beautiful"?
We are a small business ourselves and hope therefore to be able to understand the issues involved in running a small business or organisation, and we can speak your language. We know that your website is important, but it is usually just one element of your business, no more no less. We take pride in delivering a good product and in listening to you. We have experience of delivery effective websites for GP practices.

New formats
Blogs are often seen as online diaries, and as such maybe of limited relevance to business applications. However, used cleverly they can offer a rich source of content for site visitors - and easy updates by clients without having to know about HTML, XML etc.
Several examples are used on our sites - www.frenchduck.com is 100% blog technology - daily or weekly updates building into a rich searchable database which will be discovered by search engines and boost traffic to your site.
Other sites use a blog format to provide "updates" and "latest news" and these can be integrated into the main site - see www.forumhealthcentre.co.uk - the "latest news" is both headlined and linked on the front page, and all the news items are accessible from the side menu. The client can easily provide those updates without the web designer and without putting the structure or functionality of the site at risk.
